Here’s how it works, let me describe it…

It always starts with a relaxed meeting to find out what you are looking for. If we’ve worked together before then we often pick up where we left off. You are welcome to come to me or I can come to you.

Beginning with a free-of-charge consultation. This is where you are given the opportunity to tell me what you are looking to achieve – your dreams, visions, and aspirations. We work together to put a plan of action in place so all is clear from the start. This includes timings, location, costings, ideas for presentation on your walls, and tailor-made books for your coffee table. Not forgetting the date expected for delivery.

It’s all about communication from start to finish. It’s the fine details in between that make each experience exclusive to you. You are guaranteed my personal service.

Then we get onto the planned photoshoot to enjoy – see below ‘what to expect on the day’. After this, it’s down to me to edit the images ready to present to you, to choose your preferred ones at your post-shoot viewing.

During this viewing, once you have selected your favorite images it’s your opportunity to place your order. I’ll show you ideas and options to suit your lifestyle.

The next step is the finishing process. I work in collaboration with the finest craftspeople to deliver top-quality results to last a lifetime and beyond.

What happens on the day?

We already would have planned the time of day to meet, and there is so much more to look forward to. Let me tell you what to expect.

If the weather is awful, and I mean really awful, windy and torrential rain I’d call to rearrange. If it’s overcast this is a plus because diffused light is great, giving a soft complimentary light. But don’t worry about this, leave it to me to work with the sometimes everchanging light.

I always do a recce of a location if I haven’t been there before so I’m familiar with it first and can work efficiently and intuitively. I’ll arrive well before you do for your photoshoot so I’ll be ready and waiting. Just text me if you are held up. You’ll already have directions of where to meet if it’s a location I’ve suggested.

We would have spoken before the shoot about what to wear to suit the location and what you and your family are comfortable wearing.

Family location photoshoots take around an hour. From experience, this has always worked well for young families.

Most importantly it’s all about the fun and the connections you have with each other that I’m looking to capture and the spontaneity.

Once the shoot is over I’ll arrange a date and time for your viewing session. This is usually a week or two later. I can come to you or you can come to me, or we can do this on Zoom if you prefer.
